CAMPS FLYER 2019.jpg

The Tonea Stewart Performing Arts Camps are designed to introduce students to  self-control, self-worth, self-affirmation and the creative process. Through the use of the arts, TAPS or Theatre Artist Performing School offers techniques in reading comprehension skills, personal development, and acting, singing and dancing. Camp 3T  or Teaching Through Theater utilizes theater arts as a vehicle to curtail the rising drop  out rate as well as address college readiness.  TTI or Technical Theater Initiative uses the practical side of theater to focus on technical career training and trade skills that qualifies one  for the world of work.  GIFTED  or Giving Individuals Freedom to Express Diversity is a program specifically designed for persons with disabilities to participate in the arts.  These programs offer classes in acting, singing, dancing, technical theater, reading, modeling, creative writing, professionalism, public speaking and oral interpretation.
